ive been home late for the past three days. that's a first. im quite a filial daughter. (:
anyway, ytd, we had the gala dinner at meritus mandarin.
the theme was solid gold. ohman. SERIOUSLY, it was damn fcuking grand. all those chandeliers. not only one but i think there was like 6? or more! SHE'S LIKE ONE SMART ASS, really. *pardon me ms ho ching if i sound crude and you happen to pass by.*
she was like the top student for what..english lit, english, a math, history and a few more. she was house captain of pankhurst, president of something, FIRST DRUM MAJORETTE of the band. WOW. i salute her for just being her. and she's now the CEO OF TEMASEK HOLDINGS! gosh.

the food. although i had no money to pay for the dinner, there was sharks fin! like. okay. i know you're mercilessly killing and slaughtering poor sharks fr their fins only. but sure, its delicious! k. but i havent eaten sharks fin since like what, 5 years ago? whee. im against merciless killing. or killing in its nature itself.
then we sat outside for a drink. the queue at nydc was just too long. so drank elsewhere. haha. (:
